Well, my first coaching session with Jessica Ainscough went well. I speak with her twice a month and email whenever I like. She's an awesome health coach. I connected with her straight away on the telephone, we've been emailing for a while now and I've been following the Wellness Warrior Blog for what seems like a lifetime! She's full of information and you sort of sit back at the end of it feeling positive that you can make changes in your life that will stick and benefit you in every way possible!
I'm finding I am looking at everything on labels. I had a little trip to Flannerys yesterday and purchased some awesome items, kale, organic lemons, pears and apples, spelt wraps and gluten free products. This morning was green smoothie breakfast day. In the green smoothie is cos lettuce, spinach leaves, lemon, apple, pear and banana (sorry Jess, I forgot the celery). Here's a snippet of some green shots and finished product!
And no...I didn't blend up Kermit the Frog...
It tasted nice, I threw a couple of ice cubes in it too as I like it cold! I had my usual lemon in warm water instead of coffee too, delish. I must admit, I'm feeling good already. I have cut out pretty much all processed food from my diet. I have so much energy that I was dancing around the house this morning like a madwoman to The Wiggles with Miss M! I felt like doing aerobics to be honest.
If anyone wants the Green Smoothie recipe, let me know and I'll email it to you!
I also picked up some almond/cashew and brazil nut spread from the supermarket (no additives at all), really wanted to try this Almond Butter but Flannerys was out! Next time maybe!
So just a reason why greens are so great for your body. They cleanse the blood, alkalise your system and deliver important enzymes and nutrients to your cells. So instead of waking up to an UP and GO in the morning now or a BIGGEST LOSER shake, I'm doing a green smoothie.
More blog posts later on spiritual matters...
Woo hoo! So proud of you! Well done with the smoothie - and that is totally fine to leave the celery out. Many people prefer it without it anyway. Keep up the amazing work!
ReplyDeleteLove, happiness & gallons of green juice,
